The approximately 88m2 large apartment on two floors is located in the former mill of Ardez. On the modern renovated first floor there is an open kitchen and a living/dining area, a bedroom with double bed as well as a bathroom. The private terrace can be reached from the living room and is sheltered from the wind. From the terrace you have a panoramic view of the mountains and forests on the opposite side of the valley. Two more bedrooms and a small shower/WC can be reached via a steep staircase. These cosy rooms are located under the roof are kept in the original mountain cabin style.

In the same house there is also a 1.5 room holiday apartment. Both apartments can be rented together too, an ideal option for larger families/generational holidays.

The house is very quietly located just outside the village on the summer street to the picturesque village of Ardez-Sur-En, the main filming location in the Schellenursli film. From the kitchen window you have a panoramic view of the Lower Engadine Dolomites and the unique pine forests of the Lower Engadine. Shopping facilities, a bakery and the post office are located in the village centre (approx. 800m away). Salsiz, Landjäger or Natura Beef meat can be obtained directly from the nearby nature farm Campell.

A fountain with fresh Engadine water burbles directly in front of the front door. Shopping facilities and the post office are in the village centre (approx. 800m away). Salsiz, Landjäger or Natura Beef meat can be bought directly from the nearby nature farm Campell.

In the same house there is also a 4.5 room holiday apartment and another Studio. All three apartments can be rented together too, an ideal option for larger families and multi-generation holidays.

The Ardez railway station is 650 m away and can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes. The ski area Motta Naluns can be reached via Ftan by car in 5 minutes, via Scuol by train in 10 minutes. Ardez has a cross-country ski run which can be reached on foot in approx. 15 minutes. The neighbouring village of Ftan also has an 8.5 km Dario Cologna cross-country trail. The access road is regularly cleared in winter, but snow chains or a 4x4 drive are still an advantage, depending on the snowfall and road conditions. A pick-up service from the train station can be arranged.

In summer, the region offers fantastic opportunities for hikes of all lengths. The hike from Ardez to Tarasp via a suspension bridge and then onwards to Scuol is very popular or also a visit to Murtera d´Ardez, another location in the Schellenursli Film. The Swiss National Park is located nearby.
