The region around Switzerland's only national park is an insider tip for gravel riders. The terrain is neither too steep nor too flat to ride numerous passes, valleys, and single trails on gravel. The tour leads from Scuol via Val Müstair to Livigno and from there over the Bernina Pass to Zuoz in the Upper Engadin. The last stage then leads back to Scuol. Each stage is between 50 and 60 km. Luggage transport is included.

Stage description:

Scuol - Val Müstair, 52 km and 1,400 meters of elevation gain: From Scuol (1,250 m) to S-charl (1,810 m), past the Swiss stone pine forest “God da Tamangur” to Alp Astras (2,135 m) and on to Pass da Costainas (2,250 m). Steep descent to Alp Champatsch (2090 m), on a forest road to Lü (1920 m) and on via Sta. Maria to Müstair (1270 m). From here to the respective hotel in Müstair, Sta. Maria or Tschierv.

Val Müstair - Livigno, 50 km and 1140 meters of elevation gain: From the stage destination, ride through Val Vau up to Döss Radond (2234 m) and continue through Val Mora. From Alp Mora (2220 m), a challenging single trail leads to Passo Val Mora (1950 m). After a loop around Lago S. Giacomo di Fraéle, the climb to Alpisella (2300 m) follows. Then a steep descent on a good path to Lago di Livigno and the stage destination of Livigno.

Livigno - Zuoz. 62 km and 900 meters of elevation gain: The route from Livigno towards Forcola di Livigno (2310 m) is ideal for warming up on the new bike path and the pass road. This is followed by the “Val Minur Marmotta Trail” over the Motta Bianco (2561 m) to Ospizio Bernina. The “Bernina Express Bike Trail No. 673” takes you past the Morteratsch Glacier to Pontresina (1805 m). In Pontresina, turn left towards Lake Staz and continue along Lake St. Moritz and through Celerina to Zuoz.
