Description

Homely hotel situated directly at the train station, the cable car and bus stop. The rooms are furnished with eco-furniture of solid alder treated with herbal oil and beeswax. They are equipped with satellite TV/radio, safe and hairdryer. South facing rooms have a balcony or garden terrace. The restaurant serves attractively priced lunch dishes, a varied evening menu, and a wide range of delicious à la Carte dishes. Wines from the Grison area, as well as Italy and other European countries compliment our food. In summer the terrace restaurant invites visitors to relax with a wonderful view of the Lower Engadin Mountains. Indoor or outdoor parking is available as well as a locked room for bicycles. Free garage space for motor bikes.

"The Altana team males you feel welcome in a very natural and authentic way. Each team member was a pleasure to talk to. The rooms are basic, certainly a couple of years old but very comfortable and clean. The bed was super comfortable. We slept very well. The breakfast is worth a special mention! The variety and quality was very good. All in all if you are looking for hospitality, ideal location next to the slopes and a great breakfast before hitting a the outdoors, then this is a great place. Nothing fancy, but all you need, spotless clean and especially a super comfortable bed. The team is fantastic!"

"This is my first time spending days in Scuol in the winter and it was a wonderful experience staying with the family Lehmann surrounded with warmth and love. A memorable experience in every aspect. love this room, quiet with a balcony and very clean always Your employees are all very courteous, helpful and kind. for a guest coming into the valley by train could not be more convenient. A total delight every day!"

"The Altana provides excellent accommodation and food .The rooms were a good size and very comfortable. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner (with different choices every day for half board and a picnic lunch to take with you). The hotel is just a minutes walk from the train and bus stations, and cable car. The owners provided lots of advice on the Swisstopo Map App and best walks to take. The free summer travel card for the trains, buses and cable cars was very useful and provided access to walks a little further away. A good size and comfortable beds Excellent help from all the staff and the owners. Booked through Headwater Holidays so we don't know the exact price, but seemed very good value Very convenient for trains, buses and cable car and a little further walk into Scuol. Excellent food on the half board rate."
