Stylishly renovated Engadine garni hotel in idyllic village centre. All the rooms and suites are furnished in Swiss pine. 3 mins. from spa centre. Bus stop near the hotel.

"This is the third time that we have stayed at this hotel and you can tell by that that we rate it very highly. The staff are delightful, the rooms are nicely appointed in the local style of furniture, and the location is incredibly convenient for walking, the spa, and for access to public transport for longer trips. We particularly like the breakfast spread which strongly features local produce and even some home-made gems and Kombucha. There’s a different bread every day, several local cheeses, and an excellent Bircher muesli. The hotel is located on a quiet street in the old part of Scuol and is decorated in the Engadine style… there is plenty of charm to go around! There is a bus stop connecting you to the station just a few metres from the building, or you can walk up to the station in about 15 minutes. The hotel provides suggested recreational events and walks every day ranging from hiking through mountain meadows to musical performances in the region. As with other hotels here, you get a travel pass which makes transportation around the area very straightforward. It’s important to note that the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, but there are plenty of options nearby and the restaurant has arrangements with some local hotels so visitors can access their half-board evening menu."

"The attractive hotel is in the old part of the village but just a few minutes walk from the modern centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was done in the traditional style with lots of wood while the bathroom was very modern; everything worked perfectly. The hotel is small and simple and does not offer much in the way of facilities except for a daytime tearoom, however, the village and surroundings more than make up for this with no end of cultural and sporting possibilities. When I return to the area I will also return to the Engiadina."

"The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were good and fresh and the location was excellent. We did end up with a surprise guest one night though when a cat jumped in through the window and made itself quite at home on the bed! Would stay here again."

"What a lovely vacation at this hotel. The staff are warm and welcoming, the rooms are gorgeous and the breakfast a delight. This is our second stay, and we’ll definitely be back again. The hotel is in a quiet part of the old town, just a few minutes walk from the Bogn Engiadina (the spa). You can start easy walks or more challenging hikes from the hotel, and it’s easier to go further afield using the buses and trains. There is no dinner service, but the team will book a table at local restaurants - the nearest is just a few metres, and our favourite (Filli) is a 5 minute walk through cute, cobbled streets. Lovely pine furnishings, peaceful and cosy."

"One of our friend recommended this hotel and I'm happy we followed his advice. The room was super nice, the team is fantastic and did everything to please us (we travelled with a young child and made specific requests). Breakfast was really good, had a lot of choices. We enjoyed our stay and are already planning to visit this region again."

"I grew up in Switzerland but been living in San Francisco since 1964. The Hotel ENGIADINA is one of my all time favorite places. Ladina Giston is a very special person, always available when needed. The Hotel is super clean and the Breakfast selection second to none. Couldn’t be happier. Beautiful Engadiner style. Best of all Very clean Worth every time. Das Well maintained. A beautiful Engadiner property. Everything available when needed. There is no comparison. Just love it."
